Yesus Dicubai Oleh Iblis Matius 4: 1 - 11

1: Kemudian Yesus dipimpin oleh Roh Allah ke padang gurun supaya dicubai oleh Iblis.

2: Setelah berpuasa selama empat puluh hari dan empat puluh malam, Yesus lapar.

3: Lalu iblis datang dan berkata kepada-Nya, "Jika Engkau Anak Allah, perintahlah batu-batu ini menjadi roti."

4: Yesus menjawab "Di dalam Alkitab tertulis 'Manusia tidak dapat hidup dengan roti sahaja, tetapi juga dengan setiap kata yang difirmankan oleh Allah.' "

5: Kemudian Iblis membawa Yesus ke Yerusalem, kota suci itu, lalu meletakkan Dia di puncak rumah Tuhan.

6: Iblis berkata kepada Yesus, " Jika Engkau anak Allah, terjunlah ke bawah, kerana di dalam Alkitab tertulis, 'Allah akan menyuruh malaikat-malaikat-Nya menjaga Engkau; malaikat akan menyambut Engkau dengan tangan, supaya kaki-Mu tidak terhantuk pada batu.' "

7: Yesus menjawab, "Tetatpi di dalam Alkitab tertulis juga, 'Janganlah cubai Tuhan Allahmu.' "

8: Kemudian Iblis membawa Yesus ke gunung yang sangat tinggi, dan menunjukkan semua kerajaan di dunia ini serta segala kekayaannya kepada-Nya.

9: Lalu Iblis berkata kepada Yesus, "Semua ini akan aku berikan kepada-Mu, jika Engkau sujud menyembah aku. "

10: Yesus menjawab, "Pergilah, hai Iblis! Di dalam Alkitab tertulis, 'Sembahlah Tuhan Allahmu dan abdikan diri kepada Dia sahaja!' "

11: Kemudian Iblis meninggalkan Yesus, dan malaikat-malaikat pun datang menolong Dia.

1 Petrus 2 - Ayat 5 hingga 9

5: Hendaklah kamu datang kepada-Nya sebagai batu-batu yang hidup. Biarlah kamu digunakan untuk membina rumah Allah yang rohani. Dengan demikian, kamu menjadi imam khas yang hidup khas untuk Allah dan yang mempersembahkan korban rohani yang berkenan kepada Allah, melalui Yesus Kristus.

6: Hal itu demikian kerana di dalam Alkitab tertulis,

"Aku telah memilih suatu batu yang berharga, yang Aku tempatkan di Sion sebagai batu asas, dan sesiapa yang percaya kepada-Nya tidak akan dikecewakan."

7: Batu ini sangat berharga kamu yang percaya. Tetapi bagi orang yang tidak percaya,

"Batu yang dibuang oleh pembina bangunan telah menjadi batu yang paling utama."

8: Di dalam Alkitab juga tertulis ayat ini,

"Inilah batu yang akan menyebabkan orang tersandung, batu yang akan menyebabkan mereka jatuh."

Mereka tersandung kerana mereta tidak percaya kepada firman itu. Demikianlah kehendak Allah bagi mereka.

9: Tetapi kamu bangsa yang terpilih, imam-imam yang mengabdikan diri kepada Raja, bangsa yang suci, umat Allah sendiri, Allah memimlih kamu untuk mengisythiharkan perbuatan-Nya yang luar biasa. Allah sudah memanggil kamu keluar daripada kegelapan supaya masuk ke dalam cahaya-Nya yang gemilang. Dahulu kamu bukan umat Allah, tetapi sekarang kamu umat Allah. Dahulu kamu tidak mengenal rahmat Allah, tetapi sekarang kamu sudah menerima rahmat-Nya.

Its the world tallest building and its located at The First Interchange along Syed Zayed road, near Dubai's main business district. 

Burj Khalifa spire is composed of more than 4, 000 tonnes (4, 400 short tons; 3, 900 long tons) of structural steel. The pinnacle pipe was used as the central of the tower weighing 350 tones (390 short tons; 340 long tons) which was constructed from the inside of the building and jacked to its full height of over 200 m (660 ft) using strand jack system.
